In practical maths last Friday we designed maths trails for the junior room. Firstly, we looked at examples of maths that the junior room do. Then we worked in pairs to write clues for a maths trail that would suit the junior room. We picked clues from both inside and outside the school. When we finished this we typed them up and we used photographs on our trails to give the children clues. Later in the day, the junior room children worked in small groups to complete the trails. We all enjoyed this challenge.
