On the 25th September we started an air monitoring survey to test the quality of the air in 3 locations close to the school. This is part of the Globe Ireland Air Quality Campaign which a selection of schools are involved in throughout the country. We installed three separate test tubes in an area with low traffic volume, an area with higher traffic volume and an area well away from the road. We will leave these tubes in place for four weeks. Then we will take them down and send them off for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) analysis. Results will be compared to other locations across the country.
