In Science, we had so much fun experimenting which was the best way to keep an ice cube from melting. We used newspaper, salt, tin foil and an unchanged ice cube. And we also left some ice cubes outside in the cold. We used timers for each one. We now know why salt is used on icy roads, as the salty ice cubes were the first to melt really quickly.
