Memorial Tree - North West Hospice
As a school community, we have joined with the wider North West area, and purchased a light on the NW Hospice Memorial Tree.
This is in memory of all of our family and friends who may no longer be us, as well as donating to a wonderful local cause. The accompanying photographs are from the Memorial book.
Below is the email of thanks from the NW Hospice.
Dear Killavil NS Staff and Children
Thank you for “Lighting up a Life” and sponsoring a light on the North West Hospice Memory Tree.
We sincerely appreciate your donation.
The North West Hospice Memory Tree lights will be turned on at a public ceremony on December 11th at 6.30pm. The tree is located in the North West Hospice Garden of Memories in Cleveragh park Sligo. There will be music and candlelight and it is open to everyone.
It is our vision to provide the highest quality, person-centred palliative care services possible for all in the North West of Ireland. To achieve this vision, we aim to raise €1 million annually to continue to fund the development and enhancement of our essential services.
All funds raised from the Memory Tree will go directly towards this purpose.
Thank you for helping us to help our community.
Wishing you a very happy Christmas and all the best for a happy, healthy 2023.
