It's one thing knowing how to do maths in a book, it's another to be able to put it into practice. As part of our whole school improvement plan we are going to put more focus on practical maths as well as problem solving. Last Friday we headed out to the yard with our metre sticks and chalk to complete a range of measuring activities. We really enjoyed doing practical maths.
