Congratulations to Aaron Davey who was selected to represent the school at Markievicz Park on Sunday at the Connacht semi-final half-time exhibition match. Aaron started off in goals and had a run outfield also. He played brilliantly. Thanks to the Cumann na mBunscol committee for organising this great opportunity for all the young boys and girls.
Unfortunately, Sligo hearts were broken in injury time in the main match when Galway swooped for a late late goal to beat Sligo by 2 points. Well done to Aaron and also to the whole Sligo squad and management. Sligeach abú!
